On January 10th , the Polish premiere of Wojtek Smarzowski’s “Pod Mocnym Aniołem” was staged at the Kijów.Centrum cinema in Kraków. The final mix took place at ALVERNIA STUDIOS towards the end of last year.

The new film by Wojtek Smarzowski, the director behind “Drogówka”, “Róża” and “Wesele”, is a nerve racking story of a man struggling with his alcoholic addiction, a tale of a challenging, at times tragic, fight for survival – the story of despair, hope, successive falls and great determination. The film’s screenplay is based on a celebrated novel by Jerzy Pilch, entitled “Pod Mocnym Aniołem”, which was awarded the prestigious NIKE Literary Award in 2001.

Jacek Hamela together with Sebastian Włodarczyk (Sound Engineer, ALVERNIA STUDIOS) worked on the final mix.
