First clapboard on set of “Hiszpanka”
October 3rd marks the beginning of shooting a fictional movie entitled “Hiszpanka”, directed by Łukasz Barczyk. Alvernia Studios provides the physical production and post-production services. “Hiszpanka”, as the director describes it, is a thriller about a group of clairvoyants and spiritists at the end of the First World War, who use their paranormal abilities, in an attempt to protect the Polish pianist and politician Ignacy Jan Paderewski from a mental attack of a remarkable medium – Doctor Abuse, who works for the Prussian Army.
Film is produced by Kadr Film Studio and Film Institution Film-Art. It is scheduled to wrap at the end of January 2013.
