Alvernia Studios not only has a complete range of film set equipment (cameras, lighting, grip, location sound) but also offers a complete “mobile film park”, a unit of film set trailers based on swapbody container trucks. We are the only studio in the world that owns four 100 kW SoftSun lights (generally, lamps of such power are available from hire companies only) and three 250 kW Lightning Strikes. We offer 35 mm ARRICAM Studio, ARRICAM Lite and ARRIFLEX 435 Xtreme cameras adapted to work together with the motion control TechnoDolly crane. There are just nine of these devices operating worldwide at present.

The film set trailers are built around swap body containers. These include among others a honeywagon and star dressing room, makeup and wardrobe trailer, restroom trailer, generators
(2 x 400kW, 1 x 165kW), camera truck, grip truck, and a catering wagon which can provide for up to 250 people. This “mobile film park” can provide complete facilities for any film set.

Alvernia Studios has a set of 35 mm ARICAM Studio, ARRICAM Lite and ARRIFLEX 435 Xtreme cameras, a wide range of Ultra Prime LDS and zoom lenses - Angenieux Optimo 24 x 290, and a full choice of accessories - 2575c and 120 EX OConnor heads, tripods, follow focus, matte boxes, wireless systems. We also provide a complete video assist unit.

Alvernia Studios is the only studio in the world that owns four 100 kW SoftSun lights (4 pcs -lamps of such power are generally available from hire companies only) and (3 pcs) 250 kW Lightning Strikes. Besides them, we offer a variety of ARRI lamps, tripods, Lighting Controls etc. The studio is capable of lighting a set which consumes 1.35 MW of energy in total.

Together with the cameras we can supply standard Galaxy cranes created to work with a platform or a Thoma remote head, a Panther camera dolly, and a very wide range of accessories: Super Jib II, U-Bangi II and High-low-rig.
location sound
Alvernia Studios offers highly valued multichannel digital sound recorders: Aaton Cantar-X, Zaxcom Deva 16, and mixing consoles such as Sonosax SX-ST8D and Deva Mix-12. This equipment continues to work even in the most extreme conditions. We have a varied set of microphones made by the best companies, i.e. Schoeps, Sennheiser and Sanken, which allow dialogues and sound effects of the highest quality to be recorded. For wireless transmission we use the Zaxcom wireless system – Countryman wireless microphones, and the Boom Plug-on when transmitting sound from the booms. As an addition to this set comes an Ambient Slate – a clapperboard with wireless timecode transmission.
