Alvernia Studios Music Scoring facility is suitable for recording of all types of music. This impressive scoring stage easily accommodates an 100-person-strong orchestra, yet is flexible enough to provide an intimate recording environment for a solo performer.
Air-conditioned studios feature an adjustable acoustic system, which allows the reverb time to be varied. In addition, Alvernia Studios owns music instruments including a Steinway & Sons Model D piano and a variety of Kolberg Percussion instruments.
Control Room is provided with a large-format mixing console AMS Neve 88R with Encore Plus automation, Munro Acoustic custom M4+P surround monitoring system, Pro Tools HD audio systems, a variety of outboard gear from top audio-manufacturing companies including Weiss, Manley, Tube Tech, GML, Empirical Labs and others, and a selection of great microphones: Manley, DPA, Royer, Coles, Soundfield, Brauner, Neumann and many others.

The orchestra was founded by a group of graduates of the Academy of Music in Katowice with Marek Moś, an outstanding violinist, conductor and chamber musician. In February 1998 Aukso was considered one of Europe’s best ensembles. Our music-scoring studio is more than a place for Aukso to work: it is an area of artistic exploration and creative development of art to provide the highest value in film music.
