‘The Giant Mechanical Man’ is a comedy about an affair between Janice (Jenna Fischer), a woman in her thirties who has yet to learn how to navigate adulthood, and Tim (Chris Messina), a street performer who works as a “living statue”. There is also Janice’s overbearing sister (Malin Ackerman) and her former boyfriend, an egotistical self-help guru (Topher Grace). Everyone seems to know what’s best for Janice, but it is Tim who helps her find her own voice and realize that it only takes one person to make you feel important.

The film was written and directed by Lee Kirk; the producer and star is Jenna Fischer known for ‘The Office’; the cast includes Chris Messina (‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’), Topher Grace (‘That ’70s Show’) and Malin Akerman (‘Watchmen’, ‘Rock of Ages’).
Alvernia Studios was responsible for creating over 80 VFX shots and full grading in 4K. All the works were executed within record time of 3 weeks.
Tribeca Film Company, the organizer of the famous New York Film Festival, has acquired U.S. distribution rights.
