ALVERNIA STUDIOS took part in the production of the film “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” (“Run Milkha Run”), directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra – one of the most awaited Bollywood productions of the year. So far more than 13 million people have watched this film. ALVERNIA STUDIOS, with its Mumbai office opened at the beginning of this year, was involved in the production of the film and was responsible for the color grading and sound edition.

In mid-July, the recordings ordered by the EMI Music London were produced in ALVERNIA STUDIOS. Andrew Dudman, Madonna’s sound engineer, who works in the legendary Abbey Road Studios, sat behind the mixing console.

ALVERNIA STUDIOS became a partner of this year’s Film Music Festival in Kraków. As a result of this partnership, workshops for young composers with prominent representatives of the music industry will be organized in our studios.

A postproduction unit dedicated to servicing small forms, including commercial projects, has been available in the ALVERNIA STUDIOS production house since July 1st. The capability of the Warsaw office includes offline and online film editing.

In June, Polish blues band Daddy’s Cash has began recording a new album “Body Blues”, in our studio. 14 different tracks inspired by the broadly-taken blues musicare prepared.

Alvernia Studios has become the official Partner of Legalna Kultura Campaign. As a part of this cooperation, on 29th May, a workshop “Open Door to Culture”took place in the studios. Its aim was to promote the use of legal sources of culture.

On 11th May, in Praga District in Warsaw, Jan Komasa started shooting his newest feature film “Miasto 44″. Alvernia Studios equips the movie set with 35 mm cameras: ARRICAM Studio, ARRICAM Lite, ARRIFLEX 435 Xtreme. We also develop and transfer dailies from the set.
