The 3rd edition of ArtBuzz conference will take place on 11th – 12th April at the AGH University of Science and Technology. Our studio is a partner of the event attended by VFX artists, games and new technology developers. Members of our team are among the speakers.

On 31 March and 1 April 2012, Alvernia Studios hosted a premiere of Krzysztof Penderecki’s ‘St. Luke Passion’, directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna. Over 1400 people attended the concerts.

Alvernia Studios’ sound engineers – Piotr Witkowski, Sebastian Włodarczyk and Bartłomiej Bogacki have received the Romanian Gopo Award for the best sound for ‘Crulic – the Path to Beyond’.

This spring, yet another American film which was produced at Alvernia Studios will be screened in theatres overseas. In our studio, among others, special effects and 4K colour correction services were provided.

The Digital Intermediate Department of Alvernia Studios was equipped with an additional film recorder ARRILASER 2 High Speed 4K with an auto geometry pitch mode.

On 22nd March, a concert “Krzysztof Penderecki /Jonny Greenwood” presenting the music from an album recorded at our studio took place at Barbican Hall in London. The world premiere of the album was in mid-March.

Two experienced filmmakers joined Alvernia Studios team. Jakub Chilczuk took up the position of Head of Postproduction, while Mariusz Korczak joined the VFX department as CG Supervisor and VFX Co-Supervisor.

The recording of music to “Wszystkie kobiety Mateusza” (All Matthew’s Women) directed by Artur “Baron” Więcek has just finished at Alvernia Studios. The author of the soundtrack is Leszek Możdżer.
